Gopi Ghosh was one of the founder members for the UN knowledge management intiative in India called Solutionexchange - eventually managing its Food and nutrition security community as Resource Person and Moderator. The network maintains a query based e-mail discussion forum with distinct knowledge outcome called Consolidated Replies. It also brings out monthly updates, for-info and other items- besides organizing face-to-face meetings of its members - around 2800. It also cross posts with its other 13 communities for issues of inter-disciplinary perspectives.

KM MEETING IN SHILLONG- NORTH EAST INDIA

To bring practitioners who are not networked yet with the food and nutrition community, an important meeting was organized in mid March in Shillong North-East India by the cop. It was amazing to observe how people are keen to share the experiences and learn from each other's work. This provided a window of opportunity to identify and include the issues and activities of the NE more intimately with the mainstream development practitioners.
